When selecting Cartonization during manual Order Import, it would be helpful to have the ability to also select: - Override WMS Items Weight - Override WMS Items Dimensions - Ignore WMS Item Weight and Dimensions. The intention is to use Cartonization on a one-off basis for specific orders or batches, without enabling cartonization or changing the configuration for the entire client. These options would allow techSHIP to use the item weight and dimensions configured in techSHIP for that specific import rather than the values provided by the WMS. One possible approach would be to display these options as clickable checkboxes or additional settings that become available when Cartonization is selected in the import dropdown. The exact implementation could be determined by the Techdinamics team. Currently, these controls are only available under Client > Details and apply to all orders. Ideally, the same controls could be available during manual import and applied only to the particular order/import/batch being cartonized, without changing the client's permanent configuration.

Request: to customize the error messages generated by Restrictions in Techship.The current messages are unclear and include technical/system formatting that makes troubleshooting difficult. Example: This order does not meet the following 'allow' conditions outlined in the client account's profile (found under the restrictions tab): Service = 01 AND SKU all not in XXX-XXX6-BAT, XXX-XX51-BAT (actual System.Collections.Generic.List`1[System.String]) Expected Result: When restriction validation fails, techSHIP should display a user-friendly message that: Clearly explains why the order failed. When clients request for quotes, the rates tab would display marked up rate only if rate shopping. If a specific service was selected, the carrier raw rate is displayed instead, and quote provided to the client is not marked up. Can this be changed to consistently display marked up rates (when setup to include markup)?

1) Allow for specific SKUs and SKUs types to ship in a specific box type separated from other SKUs. Example: Chain saw chain ships in a certain box type and can be put in same box as other type of Chain saw chain. Cannot be put in box with products outside of Chain group. 2) Concept of "Box Class" which is a SKU level attribute that dictates which box the sku is allowed to be packed into, If SKU does not have box class , it can be packed into any box.

We would like to request a new feature within Techship that allows user‑created charges to flow into alternate billing fields within the Extensiv WMS—specifically, billing fields other than the existing Freight/Shipping field. Our goal is to map charges to the Materials or Handling billing fields based on configurable triggers. We are currently struggling to capture certain handling or materials-related fees directly within the WMS. Using Techship’s existing OMR restrictions and automation tools would significantly streamline this workflow and reduce manual intervention. Eg- When a SKU description contains the word “glass”, automatically add $0.25 per unit to the Materials billing field in the WMS. We would like the ability to create logic-driven charges in Techship that map to specific WMS billing fields for scenarios such as: Additional handling fees for SKUs that include plastic strapping (to account for carrier-assessed fees billed post-shipment). Material fees for corrugated cardboard used to wrap glass bottles. Additional handling fees when the item quantity on an order exceeds a specified threshold. Material fees for applying battery marking stickers to designated SKUs or SKU descriptions. Material fees for packing paper, tape, or other consumables used when specific SKUs appear on the order.

Request: we are looking into whether the drop-down menu in the production environment can be removed or disabled, leaving [IMPORT] as the only available option. We recently identified an issue with orders: all of them were shipped using the default account, overriding the information received from the WMS. We discovered that the carrier setting was accidentally changed from [IMPORT] to UPS, which triggered charges to the default UPS account. Request: Add a feature in the Desktop Client that allows warehouse staff to take photos of the items included in each shipment. Business Requirement: ShipHero currently provides photo-documentation capabilities, but because packing is performed in Techship, ShipHero can no longer capture images during the packing process. As a result, the customer is requesting that the Desktop Client support this functionality. Photo documentation is essential for them as it provides clear evidence of the items included in a shipment, helping resolve disputes or claims when items are reported missing after delivery.
