Customer would like to propose an OMR enhancement , that if implemented, would allow them to automate what they pass as a Delivery Date for carriers that have this as mandatory. The requirement would be to add Delivery Date/Deliver By Date as a field in OMR so that they can set a rule to pass the delivery date as the a data offset ie Today() + X , where X is a day offset. We would like to request an enhancement to the markup profile functionality. Currently, markup profiles allow us to add additional charges when a condition is met; however, the system only applies the markup once per SKU, not per unit quantity. This limitation prevents us from accurately assigning handling costs for certain products. Example Use Case: We ship water cooler SKUs that include strapping. Carriers charge an additional handling fee after we have rated and shipped. We need the additional charge to be applied for each unit of that SKU. Currently, if an order contains strapping SKU with a quantity of three, the markup is only applied once. The system treats it as “charge per SKU,” not “charge per SKU quantity.” Requested Enhancement: Please allow markup profiles to apply charges based on the quantity of items that meet the condition, not just the count of SKUs. This would ensure accurate cost allocation and better reflect our operational handling costs. This enhancement would greatly improve our workflow and billing accuracy.

After an order is processed, the carrier tracking number is only visible on the "My Orders" list page. When viewing an individual order detail page, this information is not displayed, requiring users to navigate back to the list view. Request: Display the carrier tracking number in the order detail page

It would be very nice if we could easily set a "max" on a markup at the carrier level. We currently charge a markup % for all clients. This works well 99% of the time. When it does not work well is when the shipping is very expensive (mainly large International shipments) where the markup could be $200+. When the markup is this expensive, the total rate to the customer ends up being much higher than they can attain themselves. Through Markup Profiles, Techship can accomplish this to some extent but the main issue is that it needs to be done at the service level. We ship with MANY services so this particular setup would take a long time. In addition, we would need to remember to apply this markup profile whenever we add a new service which could lead to errors (us forgetting). The ability to add a % markup with a 'total rate cap/max' at the carrier level would be ideal.

We would like to request a new feature within Techship that allows user‑created charges to flow into alternate billing fields within the Extensiv WMS—specifically, billing fields other than the existing Freight/Shipping field. Our goal is to map charges to the Materials or Handling billing fields based on configurable triggers. We are currently struggling to capture certain handling or materials-related fees directly within the WMS. Using Techship’s existing OMR restrictions and automation tools would significantly streamline this workflow and reduce manual intervention. Eg- When a SKU description contains the word “glass”, automatically add $0.25 per unit to the Materials billing field in the WMS. We would like the ability to create logic-driven charges in Techship that map to specific WMS billing fields for scenarios such as: Additional handling fees for SKUs that include plastic strapping (to account for carrier-assessed fees billed post-shipment). Material fees for corrugated cardboard used to wrap glass bottles. Additional handling fees when the item quantity on an order exceeds a specified threshold. Material fees for applying battery marking stickers to designated SKUs or SKU descriptions. Material fees for packing paper, tape, or other consumables used when specific SKUs appear on the order.

This tool would be particularly valuable in RFQ scenarios and when warehouses are trying to demonstrate the value of using their own negotiated rates instead of a customer's third-party rates.

When zone skipping an order, we rate shop using the induction location as the origin and create a separate, bulk shipment for the middle-mile carrier to deliver the parcels to the induction location. In this scenario, we need the ability to track the shipment through the whole process.

While we appreciate the functionality to automate Return Label generation at the time of creating a shipment, unfortunately, the tracking number and information pertaining to the return label created is not searchable in the Order History. There is no history to be found in TechShip at this time to locate information about a Return Label that gets created this way. This feels like a system flaw that we highly recommend being developed further to provide the users with visibility.

The service is not a valid service for these shipment contents to this destination. Royal mail international tracked and signed has merged -- API needs updating for techship to integrate this?

Feature to extract Item Masters at the Portal level. Would be helpful for 3PL's that have many clients to have an option to download all client item setups in 1 click rather than downloading each client separately.
