Hello, right now as part of the events array the field "description" is being populated with city/state/zip. For other carriers like FedEx it is providing a higher level package tracking status (less detailed). I was wondering on possibility of having UPS match similar in the description field as there is a location array already that has the city/state/zip so having in the description is a bit duplicative. Looking at the UPS tracking API there is a "type" field that appears similar to what FedEx is using for the description. Says that my package was delivered days ago but I have never seen it.

Description In techTRACK’s shipment dashboard, delivery performance compares expected vs. actual dates. When carriers don’t provide expected delivery or induction dates, the dashboard shows zero values, resulting in incomplete performance metrics. Proposed Solution If expected dates are missing from carrier tracking data, techTRACK will default to the Deliver By and Pickup dates from techSHIP (if available). This ensures complete and accurate performance comparisons with consistent visibility into shipping timelines.

Need the ability to search for shipments in techTRACK using the Transit Time. EX: Display all shipments that were delivered in 3 days, 4 days, etc.

Fedex seldomly uses the same tracking number for multiple orders (from different company orders) Example 885819010984 https://www.fedex.com/wtrk/track/?duplicateTrackingId=885819010984&trknbr=885819010984 However, Techtrack sends updates for all the packages under the tracking number ie, for the order which is not of a company too. While fetching tracking updates from Fedex, could Techtrack not cross-check the reference fields in Fedex tracking against the company's order IDs before sending the update

Once an order is delivered by DHL express, the POD document (PDF format) should be available in TechTrack so it can be pulled electronically into our TMS.

Today techTRACK returns the actual carrier code as defined in the system but it would help to receive instead the name of the carrier we specify in techSHIP.

I would like to discuss the possibility of adding a new event type (to GetEventTypeResponse) that would more explicitly describe the first delivery attempt milestone. This would allow us and other companies to track carrier performance more accurately and fully utilize the TechTRACK offering. We have a handful of important milestones in our day-to-day operations, one of which is "First delivery attempt."
