Markup Profiles | Charge based on qty of items that meet condition

We would like to request an enhancement to the markup profile functionality.
Currently, markup profiles allow us to add additional charges when a condition is met; however, the system only applies the markup once per SKU, not per unit quantity.
This limitation prevents us from accurately assigning handling costs for certain products.
Example Use Case:
We ship water cooler SKUs that include strapping. Carriers charge an additional handling fee after we have rated and shipped.
We need the additional charge to be applied for each unit of that SKU.
Currently, if an order contains strapping SKU with a quantity of three, the markup is only applied once. The system treats it as “charge per SKU,” not “charge per SKU quantity.”
Requested Enhancement:
Please allow markup profiles to apply charges based on the quantity of items that meet the condition, not just the count of SKUs. This would ensure accurate cost allocation and better reflect our operational handling costs.
This enhancement would greatly improve our workflow and billing accuracy.

Natalie Savoie I assume you are looking to have this functionality in order to add billing to the customer for the certain activity in the warehouse? if this is the case any reason you are looking to add it to the freight markup profiles and not rule sets (OMR)?

Edward Aguiar Yes! In this instance we would like to add a pre-determined amount (per carrier) directly to the freight charge total on the order. (when it meets the condition and is based on the qty of items) We have a separate suggestion for OMR functionality to add billing for certain activity to the WMS billing fields other than "freight". Eg. materials and handling billing fields.
