We’ve added a new setting to the
Shopify Beta Sales Channel: Duplicate SKU – update inventory when duplicate skus are found
. This feature gives you more control over how inventory updates are handled when multiple products share the same SKU in
Shopify
.
What's new?
Previously,
techOMS
skipped inventory updates for duplicate SKUs. Now, you can choose to
update inventory
values for all SKUs, even if they’re
duplicated
.
This is especially helpful if you use bundles or variants in
Shopify
that share SKUs. It ensures those SKUs are updated instead of skipped, keeping your inventory data more complete and synchronized.
⚠️
Heads-up
: Currently supported only in
Shopify
. Support for other beta channels coming soon. Enabling this setting may cause temporary
overselling
. Updates for duplicates may lag until the
next sync
cycle.
